Oregon Coast Adventure Session

When Emily reached out for an Oregon Coast Anniversary session, I knew that I had to make the day something to remember by taking them to my favorite Oregon Coast photography spots. We drove from Portland to Canon Beach, Oregon and stopped at Ecola State Park for our first stop. The weather was stunning and warm, perfect for my couple who wanted to dress in their wedding attire.

From there, we travelled south to Arcadia Beach, where we walked down to the beach to shoot in the path of trees that makes an archway overhead. It was exactly what I imagined, romantic in every way possible. Our next stop was Oswald West State Park, where we hiked the short hike to another canopy of trees overlooking the beach. They danced and ran, enjoying the sunshine and fresh ocean air.

Our last stop of the day was Canon Beach. As the last few hours of the day unfolded, we ventured out onto the beach, chasing the sunset as it painted the sky in hues of pink and gold. Emily is a huge fan of Taylor Swift and I wanted to encapsulate that as much as I could with these photos. To end the day, we ate dinner at Mo’s restaurant before driving back to Portland. Getting to show them some of my favorite locations down the coast was so important to me as I grew up visiting the Oregon Coast. I have had the chance to photograph some amazing Oregon Coast Elopements, so this just added another memory to that list. Oregon Coast Photography will always be so close to my heart!
